Itchiku Kubota Art Museum Reopening

Itchiku Kubota Art Museum Reopening

We are excited to announce the long-awaited reopening of The Itchiku Kubota Art Museum.

After months of closure during the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum is ready to welcome you back to explore the fascinating world of Itchiku Kubota and view his magnificent kimono collection.

The structure and environment of the museum represented the artist’s unique – some say idiosyncratic – worldview.  You can discover the heart and soul of Itchiku Kubota and see his passion for primitive arts and crafts in a peaceful shrine of nature created by the artist.

For more information and opening hours, please visit the museum’s website.

You can explore the Kubota Collection at any time on our website by navigating to The Collection section.
